To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Developer with a proven track record in executive search or recruitment within the Medical Devices and MedTech industries. This role is focused on opening new client relationships, expanding market presence, and driving commercial growth through strategic business development.

Role Overview

The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying and securing new client partnerships within the Medical Devices and MedTech industries. The role requires a proactive and strategic approach to business development, with a focus on building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of search/recruitment processes, industry trends, and the ability to deliver value-driven recruitment solutions at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and develop new client relationships within the Medical Devices and MedTech industries.
  • Create and implement a strategic business development plan to expand market presence and client base.
  • Initiate conversations with senior decision-makers, including Board, C-Level, Talent Leadership, and functional leaders, to position the company as a trusted search partner.
  • Lead business development efforts through networking, referrals, market intelligence, and direct engagement with industry stakeholders.
  • Understand client hiring needs, provide insights on talent acquisition strategies, and develop tailored search solutions.
  • Work closely with internal search and research teams to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and ensure profitable, long-term client partnerships.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Medical Devices and MedTech markets, including key trends, competitive movements, and talent challenges.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development within executive search, recruitment, or talent solutions, with a focus on Medical Devices or Medical Technology.
  • Strong industry network and ability to engage with senior executives and hiring decision-makers.
  • Track record of securing new business and expanding client portfolios in a competitive market.
  • Commercially driven mindset with the ability to create and execute a business development strategy.
  • Deep understanding of executive search methodologies and the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams to drive success.
