We are delighted to be partnering with this world-leading insurance company that is seeking a talented Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter.

This role can be fully-home-based, although there will be occasional face-to-face team meetings required in a regional office. You are welcome to attend a regional office as much as you like!

This position has arisen due to the company’s impressive expansion, enjoying 20% year-on-year growth, and is on track to double in size over the next 5 years.

Working within the specialist Financial Lines Division, you’ll be underwriting incoming new business enquiries from a wide variety of brokers throughout the UK, using your sound technical and negotiation skills to secure profitable business.

Specific Duties:

1. Underwriting large and complex renewal cases.
2. Collaborating with the Claims team.
3. Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business.
4. Involvement in interesting ad hoc projects to make a real difference.

You must have strong experience within the Professional Indemnity arena, and candidates from various specialisms (such as Professions, Miscellaneous, Tech, Life Sciences, etc.) will be considered. Excellent communication skills and a good track record of maintaining and developing relationships are essential.
