Quantum Scholars is working alongside a respected secondary school in Southampton, seeking a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher specialising in Sociology to join their school in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator looking to make a positive impact in a supportive and vibrant school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach Sociology at Key Stage 3 & 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students.
2. Support the development and delivery of the Humanities curriculum.
3. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth.
4. Assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
5. Participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the school community.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.

Requirements:

1. A degree in Sociology or a related field.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
3. Proven experience teaching Sociology at a secondary school level (preferred).
4. Strong communication and organisational skills.
5. A passion for Humanities and a commitment to student success.
6. A desire to work collaboratively and contribute to the school's ethos.
