Mobile Bicycle Mechanic at Domex Bikes Ltd

We are Domex, an industry-leading domestic appliance repair specialist, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers since our establishment in 2003. With a strong presence across Greater London, parts of the Southeast, and the Midlands, we have witnessed remarkable growth, boasting a community of over 70 skilled engineers dedicated to excellence. Domex is now embarking on an exciting venture into the Bicycle/eBike industry, extending our expertise to offer on-site service and repairs. We are actively seeking proficient bicycle mechanics to join our esteemed team of Mobile Bike Engineers at Domex Bikes Ltd. Our Head Office is in Epsom, and the areas we will be covering are London and Surrey.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in servicing and repairing our customers' bikes. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service, all facilitated through our fleet of mobile workshop vans.

Responsibilities

1. Service and Repair Customer Bikes.
2. Accurately inspect, diagnose and fix issues and faults in a required timeframe.
3. Conduct Services and Repairs to the highest standards and with maximum reliability.
4. Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to customers.
5. Stock Control on parts and consumables.

Skills/Experience Required

1. Full Manual UK Driver’s Licence
2. Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic (at least 1 year experience).
3. Excellent knowledge of the cycle industry.
4. e-bike experience preferred.
5. Can-do attitude and problem-solving mentality.
6. Ability to follow established procedures and practices.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. A strong commitment to Health and Safety guidelines.
9. Cytech Qualification preferred.
