Job Title: Community Nurse (Band 5 RGN)
Location: Haringey – N8
Hours: 0830-1600
Shifts: Shifting service open Mon- Sunday, Ad hoc, flexible availability
Pay Rates:
Day: £22.00
Night/Saturday: £25.00
Sunday: £30.00
Driving Required: Full, valid driving licence & access to a car for work

Community Nurse – Ad Hoc Shifts Available
Are you an experienced Community Nurse looking for flexible ad hoc shifts? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in community settings.

Requirements:

  1. Registered Nurse (RN) with community nursing experience.
  2. Proficient in wound care, medication administration, and risk assessments.
  3. Car driver essential for home visits.
  4. Flexible availability – ad hoc shifts as needed.
  5. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Providing specialist community nursing care to patients in their own homes.
  2. Managing catheters (male & female) and drains (chest, wound, etc.).
  3. Delivering end-of-life and palliative care with compassion.
  4. Wound care & leg dressings, including compression bandaging.
  5. Administering injectable medication (e.g., insulin) and managing syringe drivers.
  6. Supporting patients with medication administration.
