An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic specialist pharmacist to work in critical care. This vacancy is a fixed term maternity leave cover. The pharmacist will have the unique opportunity to work at a critical care unit with 24 beds at Northwick Park Hospital. The patient group is diverse taking adult medical and surgical patients who require multi-organ support; often these patients are from specialties such as St Marks Hospital gastroenterology, intestinal failure, ENT, Vascular and Head & Neck departments. We pride ourselves on a multidisciplinary approach to individual patient care.
We are looking for someone who has extensive clinical pharmacy experience, critical care experience and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team. You will need to have excellent communication, clinical and negotiation skills, as well as experience providing training and education to a range of healthcare professionals and patients. Experience in managing individuals or team(s) is also an advantage.

Salary: £59,490 to £66,239 per annum including HCAS
