Ultimate Library is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised bibliophile to work part-time, 21 hours weekly (equivalent to three days a week)
We are a small, friendly team with offices in Fulham on the fringe of the Chelsea Harbour Design Quarter.
The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of the curation and fulfilment process of bespoke book collections for private individuals, hotel clients and interior designers. A knowledge of bookselling would be very helpful.
Working closely with the Library Curator, responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in the sourcing of appropriate books from suppliers, working within budgets and developing title and sourcing knowledge
• Assisting in the creation and curation of the physical book collection according to client requirements
• Creating and managing Excel spreadsheets/book lists for clients, budgeting and invoice requirements
• Listing, packing, boxing and labelling collections appropriately for shipment and delivery
• Assisting organisation of the book stock room in an orderly manner; including unpacking, checking and recording new stock
• Managing the stock and supply of peripheral non-book items
Strong attention to detail and good literacy and numeracy skills are essential. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
