The Role:

• As a Security Architect, you’re more than just a technical expert – you’re a strategist, problem-solver, and trusted advisor. Your role is to design secure solutions that protect government agencies today and ensure their long-term resilience.
• Acting as the critical bridge between technical teams and key stakeholders, translating complex security challenges into clear, actionable plans that align with business goals and industry standards.
• Working closely with vendors and partners, you’ll safeguard systems and data exchanges, staying one step ahead of emerging threats and technologies.
• From conducting thorough risk assessments to crafting future-proof architectures, your expertise will guide Public Sector organisations through the ever-evolving digital landscape.
• By bringing bold thinking to life, you’ll transform strategic technology initiatives into impactful, game-changing solutions, making a real difference in protecting the nation.

Key Requirements:

• British national with SC or DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance.
• Qualification in Information Security (e.g., CISSP) with expertise in security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Proven experience as a Security Architect, designing and implementing security solutions, leading teams, and using architecture methodologies (TOGAF, SABSA).
• Familiarity with government security classification policy and defence cyber requirements (JSP 440, Secure by Design).
• Expertise in threat/risk modelling, network security, encryption, authentication, and access control.
• Skilled in configuring security technologies like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, and Google) and DevSecOps practices.
• Experienced in researching emerging tech trends, securing solutions, and using CI/CD for automated deployment.
