Overview

We have an excellent opportunity available for you to grow your career and make a difference at Nomad Foods! Joining us as an Innovation Buyer, you’ll be supporting the procurement strategy for all things innovation across multiple functions and geographies to maximise cost savings whilst maintaining standards.

Responsibilities

The role supports the execution of the NPD strategy for the segment ensuring business requirements are met through procuring goods and services in a sustainable and ethical way, whilst optimising costs, maintaining quality standards and mitigating supply chain risks.

Maximising end to end value creation by optimising the supplier base.
Supporting NPD strategy through existing and new suppliers.
Using market intelligence to forecast both price and market trends, leveraging this knowledge in negotiations with suppliers to deliver value.
Working closely with Sustainability Team to define sustainable and ethical sourcing plan.

Qualifications

A strong buyer with experience across either direct or indirect categories. Striving to deliver on cost-saving targets whilst maintaining high standards of performance and supplier relationships. You’ll be commercially driven and have strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
