Role: Advanced Physiotherapist – Paediatric Neuro
Site: The Portland Hospital, London
Permanent: 37.5 hrs per week

We’re looking for an Advanced Physiotherapist to join The Portland Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
The Portland Hospital is the only private hospital in the UK dedicated to the healthcare of women and children. As the only fully private maternity hospital in the UK, delivering over 1,600 babies a year, we place great importance on providing safe and high-quality care for expectant mothers. Both consultant-led and midwife-led maternity care is available, and our aim is to provide you with all the support you need during pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. Women’s health issues are treated by a team of 40 consultants, supported by nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and counsellors, with an emphasis on privacy and dignity.
As an Advanced Paediatric Neuro Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for working in the Paediatric Neuro Rehabilitation ward, working alongside the Neurorehabilitation Lead. This role will include support for the SDR service. There will also be some general paediatric, orthopaedic, and respiratory patients, as you may be required to provide cover for other members of the Physiotherapy team and also cover the weekend and on-call service.
You will have a full clinical caseload and work alongside other Paediatric Physiotherapists, and the MDT whilst supporting the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and Head of Therapies with service development initiatives.
