Job description

Step into a thriving workshop just outside Bury St Edmunds as a Mechanical Fitter and become part of a collaborative and dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to refine your skills while tackling diverse and engaging challenges each day. We're looking for candidates with strong experience in assembly and fitting, ideally gained in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with MIG welding is a plus and will add further value to your expertise.

Due to the location of the site, having your own transport is essential

Mechanical Fitter Duties:

Fabricate and install parts for heavy goods vehicles
Use hand and power tools effectively
Weld joints and sections securely
Perform heavy lifting and stand throughout the day
Maintain a clean and organised work space Pay & Hours:

Flexible working hours between 7am and 5pm
Monday to Friday, 40-hour working week
£15+ p/hour, depending on experience The ideal candidate values productivity, manages time well, and excels in a hands-on work environment. We're looking for an individual who takes pride in staying active and engaged throughout the workday.
