Are you a strong leader of teams within Finance? Do you come from a background of providing excellence in monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting? Are you motivated by the opportunity to make radical changes to ensure excellence in management accounting services?

A large not-for-profit organisation in Hampshire is on the lookout for an Interim Head of Management Accounting on a twelve month FTC. Key duties include:

• Leading an established team in management accounts; motivating the team to strive to provide an exceptional service to the wider business.
• Taking ownership of the organisation’s financial planning and forecasting processes, being the key point of contact for senior finance and non-finance leaders.
• Taking ownership for the provision of KPIs and financial insights across the business.
• Identifying areas to take advantage of new business intelligence systems, and revolutionizing the way management accounting is provided across the board.

This role will be an excellent opportunity for a strong team leader who can identify what ‘good’ looks like, and implement changes to strive for improvements. The organisation operates a hybrid working pattern with 20-40% of the working week in the office.

Candidates will be considered according to the following criteria:

• Hold a full accountancy qualification and substantial experience leading high performing teams in finance.
• Have a strong background in management accounts, ideally in large, complex environments.
• Have a history of effective change making by identifying opportunities for improvements.
