As a Senior Account Executive at AcquiMatch, you'll be the first touchpoint for future business owners, guiding them in transforming ambition into reality. You’ll turn interest into committed clients by building meaningful connections, uncovering their goals, and demonstrating exactly how AcquiMatch can help them buy the right business.

You'll take full ownership of the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, refining our sales systems while driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional client experiences. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role where you can collaborate directly with leadership, and shape the future of our company.

Location: Remote (US Central Time working hours) some travel may be required 5-10%

Job Type: Contract - Full Time

Reporting to: Founder

Compensation: Base salary $50,000 plus uncapped commission. OTE: $135,000.

Benefits: 15 days vacation + national US holidays in Year 1, health & wellness stipend; 20 days vacation + time off between Christmas & New Year's Day starting Year 2

WHAT YOU'LL BE ACHIEVING

  • Convert Inquiries into Clients: Engage inbound leads, qualify them, and guide them through the sales process with confidence and clarity.
  • Own the Sales Process: Take full ownership of client engagement, conducting intro and deeper exploration calls as needed to assess fit, answer questions, and present a clear path forward.
  • Prospect for New Opportunities: Identify and reach out to potential clients who align with AcquiMatch's services, building relationships that convert over time.
  • Guide Clients to Commitment: Address objections, walk clients through service agreements, and secure signed contracts and payments.
  • Maintain a Thriving Sales Pipeline: Track all leads and client interactions in HubSpot, ensuring consistent follow-ups and pipeline management. You'll also be responsible for your own administration, ensuring meticulous follow-through on every detail to maintain our high standards, and providing daily performance reports to the founder to track progress and optimize results.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work with Founder & Marketing to refine lead quality, with Operations for seamless handoffs, and with Delivery to continuously improve the client experience.
  • Refine and Optimize: Identify areas to improve the sales process and contribute to strategic adjustments that enhance conversion rates.

YOUR EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • High-Ticket Sales Expertise: Proven experience in closing five- and six-figure deals with C-suite, VIP, or investment-minded clients in a B2C setting.
  • Sales Process Ownership: Ability to manage the entire sales funnel, from prospecting and lead qualification to onboarding in a consultative sales environment.
  • Prospecting Skills: Strong ability to identify, approach, and engage potential clients through research, outreach, and relationship-building.
  • CRM Mastery: Proficient in HubSpot, maintaining meticulous records and ensuring seamless client tracking.
  • Consultative Selling Mindset: Skilled in understanding prospect needs, aligning them with tailored solutions, and prioritizing long-term success.
  • Remote Work Efficiency: Self-motivated and able to thrive in a high-autonomy, results-driven environment.
  • Strategic & Client-Obsessed: Focused on securing the right clients for long-term success while balancing company growth targets.
  • Detail-Driven and Proactive: Comfortable managing all administrative aspects of your work to ensure process integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Performance-Driven: Committed to tracking your own metrics, providing daily reports, and continuously pushing for better results.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Financial Acumen: Experience in industries such as investment, private equity, loans, real estate, or similar fields where advising on financial decisions was key.
  • Business Obsessed: Passionate about business trends, always learning, and eager to stay ahead of market developments.
  • Event Savvy: Comfortable representing the company at industry events and networking to generate new leads (some travel may be required).
  • Advisory Experience: Skilled in advising clients on high-stakes decisions and fostering trust through consultative conversations.
  • Driven and Hungry: Ambitious to make your mark in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where results matter.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the SMB ETA (Entrepreneurship through Acquisition) space, M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions), or related fields is highly desirable.
