Welders

Job Title: Welders

We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Lostock, Bolton.

Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK. They have recently won a large amount of work, so are looking to extend their workforce.

Responsibilities:

1. Weld using FCMAW in all positions.
2. Weld using MAG in all positions.
3. Air arc gouge.
4. Sub arc welding is advantageous but not necessary.

Shifts:

1. Day Shifts: Monday to Thursday - 6.45am-5pm and Friday - 6.45am-11.45am (£18.19 per hour)
2. Night Shift: Monday to Wednesday 6pm-6.30am, Thursday 6pm-2am (£24.25 per hour)

Both shifts are 44 hours per week.

Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test.

The weld test will include:

1. 1x vertical 10fw with FCMAW
2. 1x down hand butt weld with MAG
3. 1x 10fw with MAG
