We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding team in our Leeds office.

The Role

Your role as a Principal Mechanical Engineer will include delivery of projects from both existing and developing new clients and assisting the Associates & Directors in planning the delivery of projects.

A particular emphasis on project delivery, organisational support and team growth is required to support local and national clients.

You will be working on a varied portfolio of projects. You will take the lead and deliver larger projects, with values of £100million+.

Projects span across sectors including Commercial Offices, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Infrastructure, Education / Further Education, extra care, public bodies and Residential.

What We Are Looking For

Strong technical knowledge in mechanical engineering and relevant UK and applicable EU regulations, design guides, etc.
Able to develop effective relationships with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
Manage projects to avoid technical and commercial risk.
IT literate with an understanding of relevant IT packages i.e. Revit, IES and Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Excellent organisational and planning skills to effectively work to timescales and deadlines.
Proven track in building successful teams.
