Blackpool SEMH School is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to start ASAP.

This is a 1-year contract with the view of becoming permanent.

Tradewind is working with an SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) School in the vibrant community of Blackpool, currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic HLTA to join their team as soon as possible.

As an HLTA at the SEMH school, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support and guidance to pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 on a 1-2-1 basis. Your focus will be on planning and delivering interventions with a nurturing, positive relationship, fostering a supportive learning environment, and promoting academic and personal growth in each student.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs is desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people.
• Adaptability and resilience in challenging situations.
• Commitment to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equality in education.
