Job Title: Fire & Security Supervisor - Retail Sites

Location: Harlow/ Essex - Regional Travel Required throughout South East

Base Salary: £41,002.00

Realistic OTE: £45,000.00 per annum with overtime

Full Time: Permanent position | 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday

Job Purpose

Our client, a national leader in the facilities management space, is seeking a Fire & Security Supervisor to integrate into their successful Fire & Security Team. This is a key position and will involve, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Supervising engineers undertaking multiple system type installations and commissioning of said systems in accordance with current standards and Codes of Practice.
2. Working within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to project delivery dates.
3. Supervising the commission and handover of systems in line with the specification and drawings, including giving client demonstrations.

Key Accountabilities:

1. NSI gold standard & BAFE experience.
2. Ensure timesheets and all other relevant paperwork is completed on time.
3. Undertake any relevant training as required.
4. Compile H&S Risk Assessments and deliver toolbox talks.
5. Ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with.
6. Ensure the health, safety and welfare of yourself and the team in accordance with Company policy.
7. Completion of relevant e-documentation, paperwork and where required quotation briefs to be submitted on time.
8. Actively support company policy and best practice in the area of fire and security, with emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
9. Product knowledge and working experience relating to:

• Electronic Fire Systems conventional and addressable systems.
• Galaxy Honeywell devices.
• IP CCTV & Analogues CCTV infrastructure (Samsung, Honeywell, Intellex and Axis).
• Access Control systems and data set wiring (ACT, CEM, Honeywell and Paxton).
• Fibre and data networks & termination.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. A proven background and experience of electronic security & fire systems (minimum of 5 years experience, with supervision experience).
2. Previous experience of supervising various project elements and engineers would be advantageous.
3. Good communication skills are required as the majority of the role will involve being in a customer-facing environment.
4. The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.
5. A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install.
6. A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.
7. A full clean driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country. ECS/CSCS Card.
8. Willingness to go the extra mile.
9. A flexible attitude to working hours and willingness to travel to locations across the country.
10. Some overnight stays may be required but these will be kept to a minimum.
11. Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity, and proactivity.
