Job description
Are you based in London and interested in working for two luxury beauty brands? Then the Operations & Supply Chain Executive for La Prairie & Chantecaille may be of interest to you. If successful you will be responsible for assisting both Chantecaille and La Prairie in logistics within the UK&I and the EU ensuring a smooth day-to-day running of the supply chain. In addition to this, you will lead on weekly customer queries as well as process manual orders for our retailers.
Main Accountabilities:
Logistics Management and Order Processing
Responsible for the manual order processing for the UK market from PO creation to invoice, ensuring orders are processed in a timely manner.
Uploading required info into customer portals, ensuring the process is completed (orders and invoices).
Responsible for NSV process (allocation, order processing, and budget) and sampling orders for promotional Marketing Activity.
Ordering collateral for stores and NPD and ensuring that deliveries are within launch timings.
Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies and completing credit requests where required.
Communicating out of stock reports to Retail Partners and field weekly. Highlighting back in stocks to each retailer based on lost sales.
Analysing retailers' stock on hand and propose adequate stock cover as well as analysing testers' stock on hand and highlighting stock needs.
Ensuring any SAP order errors are resolved in a timely manner to ensure retailer SLAs are met.
Processing returns on SAP & liaising with the warehousing team, Finance, and Global Logistics.
Retailer Interface and Communication
Responsible for communication with the relevant retailers regarding stock integrity and stock holding, agreement of stock order intake and management of returns to ensure net sales targets are achieved.
Completing New launch & OCD information and including NPD allocations to retailers.
Assisting with product data collation required for new Accounts and compiling NLF NPD info to all retailers.
Main point of contact for all retail queries regarding prices, orders, and product queries.
Marketing
Work closely with the marketing team to optimize the consumer interface with both brands and ensure that our brand is effectively represented in the channel/distribution point.
Assisting finance in tracking/communicating spend on Marketing NSV.
Working with Marketing to ensure launch dates are met, directing retailer queries to marketing if needed.
Work closely with Marketing to ensure there is an awareness of key marketing activities, so that any support for the stores can be met.
Taking the marketing budget with adherence to global guidelines, ensuring that all counters have sufficient samples testers to achieve the necessary targets within budget.
Field
Understand challenges at the point of purchase to identify a plan and communicate this with the retailer, e.g., out of stocks, event-related stock, retailer distribution challenges i.e., warehousing.
Ensures KPIs are regularly measured and reported and remuneration as a result is created.
Sales
Work closely with Sales Director providing insights on net sales and commercial opportunities.
Responsible for providing input into the Sales Director of an accurate net sales forecast by retailer/store.
Responsible for providing input into the Sales Director for the monthly retail sales forecast, feeding into our reporting to Global/Regional, allowing a plan to be identified and implemented for net sales accuracy.
Customer Service
Managing the customer queries that come through on a weekly basis and responding to these as appropriate - working with the Ecomm team to ensure all necessary actions have been conducted.
Maintaining high levels of customer service to ensure relationships are maintained and excellent service is provided.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Operating knowledge of SAP/Similar ERP.
Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a timely manner and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as take their own initiative, take ownership of their own tasks, and prioritise effectively.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Microsoft experience is essential with intermediate knowledge of Excel.
Previous experience in retail/luxury brand is preferable.
