Position: Desk Based Account Executive

Company: Halifax PIB Insurance Brokers

Type: Full time Permanent

As a Desktop Account Executive, you will look after clients with premiums ranging from SME to Mid Corporate where a relationship still needs to be maintained, but physical visits are not a necessity. Along with the relationship management piece, there will also be a new business aspect to the role. You will be expected to look for opportunities to grow your book of business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate your self-motivated, hardworking nature to meet and push growth targets.
  2. Drive quality, consistency, and accuracy in all aspects of your role.
  3. Achieve and maintain a high level of client service whilst always promoting exceptional customer care standards.
  4. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with your client base and ensure expert advice is given in all areas of business.
  5. Demonstrate excellent client retention skills.
  6. Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism when dealing with both clients and insurers.

Experience:

  1. 3 years working within a similar role as Snr Handler or aspiring executive.
  2. Demonstrable growth of book of business.
  3. Commercial insurance background.
  4. Articulate with strong client and stakeholder management abilities.
  5. Market and insurer knowledge with good market relationships.
  6. Experience and a strong understanding of FCA compliance and the ability to work to regulatory processes.
