Radius has partnered with Belfast Metropolitan College, and we would like to invite applications for the following Apprenticeship role within our ICT team.

As an Apprentice within our ICT team, we will provide you with a network of support, including expert supervision, and offer significant scope for professional and personal growth and development.

The post holder will support the First Line ICT Team in achieving targets and service level agreements (SLAs) and the provision of a comprehensive IT support service as part of the existing Helpdesk facility, ensuring incidents are effectively logged, responded to within SLA, and resolved in a customer-focused manner.

Hours: 37 hours per week (this will be inclusive of 4 days at work and one at college).

Criteria

  1. Good general level of education to include a minimum of 5 GCSEs, or equivalent level qualifications, at Grade C or above, including English and Maths (Level 2 Essential Skills in Communication and Numeracy also accepted).
  2. Committed to enrolling on and completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Networking & Infrastructure at Belfast Metropolitan College.
  3. Good level of IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  4. A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport.

In such circumstances, consideration will be given in any subsequent offer of appointment to suitable alternative arrangements that the candidate may be able to put in place that would enable them to meet the travel requirements for the post).
