Are you a Chartered Structural Engineer with a passion for innovative solutions and knowledge in timber frame structures?

We're looking for an experienced professional to join an exciting team as a Structural Engineer, where you'll take the lead in driving efficiency, challenging conventions, and delivering exceptional design solutions.

As a Structural Engineer you will:

1. Validate structural designs, including wind and line loading, ensuring best practices and efficiency in timber frame solutions.
2. Collaborate with the in-house timber frame design team, providing expert guidance on engineering matters and alternative solutions.
3. Maintain and manage standard and factory details, ensuring compliance with NHBC certifications.
4. Own and oversee engineering designs, including roofs, joists, stairs, and temporary works, while resolving technical and design queries for production and site teams.

What we are looking for:

1. Minimum 3 years as a Structural Engineer.
2. Charterership - IStructE or ICE
3. Knowledge on both timber and traditional structures.
4. In-depth knowledge of British and European standards (e.g., BS6399, BS5268) and building regulations.
5. Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-disciplinary environments.
