Software Developer (C#/ASP.NET) – Up to £60,000 – Remote (with occasional office visits)

Are you an experienced Software Developer looking for an exciting opportunity with a growing business? We are working with a leading international distributor of wireless consumer electronics that is expanding its in-house software team.

The Role

As a Software Developer, you will be instrumental in enhancing and developing the company’s bespoke ERP system, helping to drive efficiency and growth. This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to various aspects of software development and IT support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test solutions using WPF, C#, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server
Support system users by troubleshooting, providing training, and assisting with queries
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including providing updates on software releases
Gain in-depth knowledge of internal systems to optimize performance and functionality
Assist in developing materials to enhance the user experience
Potential involvement in IT hardware support

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be a passionate software developer with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in software design and development
Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server
Web development experience and T-SQL knowledge are advantageous
Experience providing implementation support and troubleshooting system issues
Background in retail or communications industries is beneficial but not essential
