Our DWP Digital teams use fresh ideas and leading-edge tech to build and maintain digital solutions that will be used by nearly every person in the UK, every day and at key moments in their lives.
We are looking for people with a real passion for good content design to join us as a Junior Content Designer. You'll put our users' needs at the heart of work and make interactions with government as simple as possible.
DWP is the UK's largest government department. We help people into work and make payments worth over £195bn a year to support and empower millions of people.

You will be a user-centred designer who specialises in content, usually words. You will make things easy for people to understand and use, by designing how information is structured.
You'll work with the support and supervision of an experienced content designer to create content that's consistent with the GOV.UK and DWP style guides and design systems, and with best practice.
You will work with user researchers and interaction designers to create and test designs, along with stakeholders outside your team to make sure that content is accurate - this might include fact-checking or pair-writing.
You'll also be part of DWP's user-centred design community of practice. This includes getting your work reviewed by other content designers and reviewing their work, and access to learning that helps you be at your best now and as your career progresses.
We know your time is valuable, so our application and selection process is just two stages:
