Job description

EC&I Engineering Manager

Our client is currently looking for an EC&I Engineering Manager. The position will be on a contracting basis or a permanent staff basis, working on a hybrid model with a 4-day working week. The work will be related to the Nuclear Sector and will require candidates to be sole British Nationals.

The Engineering Manager will support the Project Manager in the preparation, monitoring, and control of project schedules, identifying engineering activities, budgets, and resources to implement engineering delivery strategies.

The right candidate will work closely with the engineering compliance and capability lead to support the identification of competencies and competency levels for defined engineering roles, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities include maintaining proficient knowledge of the machinery directive, LOLER, PUWER, CDM, and other applicable legislation, regulations, and standards.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be sole British nationals and will require SC clearance and the right to work already established within the UK.
