About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RF Communications Engineer to work on cutting-edge defence, cyber, and intelligence programmes. This role offers the chance to develop new RF-based systems, analyse vulnerabilities, research emerging technologies, and contribute to deployable RF applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of RF systems, from open-source investigations to hands-on test and measurement, including vulnerability assessments.
- Provide technical reports and investigations to support wider customer and engineering teams.
- Design and develop bespoke research tools for in-depth RF system analysis.
- Support the development and verification of mission-critical systems through lab-based testing and potential field trials.
Required Skills & Experience:
Candidates must have experience in at least one of the following areas:
- RF communications implementation/analysis
- RF algorithm development & Digital Signal Processing
- Embedded systems vulnerability analysis
Experience with any of the following would be highly beneficial:
- Real-time test & measurement (Vector Signal Analysers)
- GnuRadio or OpenCPI
- Software Defined Radios (SDR)
- Python and/or C/C++ development
