A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual looking to progress their career in the Central London office of a rapidly growing national accountancy firm.

We are looking to recruit a candidate to perform a bookkeeping and progress to accounts preparation role.

ABOUT THE JOB
Key Responsibilities
  1. Have knowledge of working with limited companies
  2. Prepare VAT returns and associated bookkeeping
  3. Prepare management accounts
  4. Prepare management reports for clients to assist in client meetings and show value added from the firm
  5. Prepare cashflow forecast
  6. Be able to carry out complex bookkeeping work for clients.
  7. Manage day to day client relationship and dealing with ad-hoc queries
The Person

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join their friendly and professional team.

  • Be graduate or studying towards AAT/ACCA/ACA/ICAS
  • Have an experience of working in accountancy practice or accounts department for at least 2 years. The experience has to be within a UK based organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office and databases
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and a high concern for accuracy.
  • Experience with working on Xero software preferred

This is a role which will suit somebody who enjoys the variety offered by a general practice firm dealing with the requirements of owner managed businesses.

The successful applicant will benefit from working alongside the managers/directors, taking responsibility for specific clients as they are delegated.
