Qualifications

Due to internal promotion we are looking to recruit a Talent & Reward Manager who will lead all Recruitment, Talent Development, Reward, HRIS and Communication projects and initiatives across the business leading a team of specialists to deliver on the HR strategy and agenda. The role will have autonomy to lead various Talent / HR projects across the business, supporting leaders on all aspects of the employee life cycle.

Please note this role does include travel of around 1 / 1.5 weeks per month around the UK and Western Europe and this will be more during onboarding.

You will need to be on site ideally 2/3 days a week, office locations include Tallington and Stoke.

Key Accountabilities:
Talent & Recruitment
  • Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities (not including senior level) across the UK, Ireland and various European regions, partnering with hiring managers from job design to appointment and onboarding for all support, managerial and leadership positions.
  • Talent Development (not including senior level) across the business ensuring robust internal training programs and partnering with external training, development and coaching providers, to support high performance across the Group.
  • Own talent development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Identify the most appropriate local, regional, and national recruitment and executive sites and partners to work with for each resourcing requirement; and negotiate competitive rates with head-hunters, job boards and online providers.
  • Partner with external agencies such as Universities and Apprenticeship providers to attract early to career talent to create a long-term talent pipeline.
  • Accountable for the recruitment, training and communications budget.
  • Lead performance improvement plans, when required.
  • Lead internal training programmes.
  • Support managers with role clarity, structural changes and internal mobility, assisting with proposals, consultations and internal communications.
  • Managing the CRH Talent Review process across the Group.
Culture & Engagement
  • Partner with the Senior HR Manager and Marketing Manager to develop the Company’s EVP internally and externally.
  • Achievement of the Communications and Engagement calendar, including but not limited to; Inclusion & Diversity, Health & Wellbeing, recognition and reward initiatives.
  • Lead the action plans of the annual Employee survey results.
  • Drive a range of projects and initiatives focused on promoting an inclusive and diverse culture and on enhancing engagement.
Reward & HRIS
  • Lead the annual compensation process including bonuses and annual pay increases.
  • Ensure HRIS integrity, and ultimately accountable for HR monthly and annual reporting for the Group.
  • Overall responsibility for data integrity across HR systems including HRIS and Success Factors.
  • Ensuring detailed reporting is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Act as the main point of contact for ensuring all approval processes are followed within auditing standards, benchmarking salaries to ensure fairness and consistency within the business.
Other
  • Act as the main point of contact for fleet management requests, ensuring CRH processes are followed across all regions of the business.
Experience and Training:
  • CIPD Level 5 is essential, Level 7 would be advantageous.
  • Must have proven experience in Recruitment, Talent Development or HR within a busy, multi-national business including managing a team.
  • Must have considerable experience leading HR projects and at ease working with Senior level stakeholders, from various business functions, regions and cultures.
  • Candidates must have experience in leading teams, ideally, in multiple sites, and be able to comfortably demonstrate how they have driven results in a range of HR areas.
  • Must have strong planning skills and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experienced with a range of MS packages (Excel, PowerPoint), HRIS or ATS experience would be advantageous.
  • Must be flexible to travel across the UK, Ireland and Western Europe.
