Senior Consultant (Actuarial, Life and Pensions) at Bruin

Level: Part/Nearly Qualified

Locations: London

Working pattern: Hybrid (3 days per week on site)

Our client is a leading insurer in London seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their expanding BPA Pricing team.

The Senior Actuarial Analyst will focus primarily on pricing and executing pension scheme transactions, including buy-ins, buyouts, and longevity swap reinsurance deals, and developing pricing strategies.

Involvement extends to structuring and negotiating deals and gaining practical experience throughout the entire transaction process, eventually leading on deals independently.

Requirements:

• Part or nearly qualified with at least 4 years of experience in a relevant actuarial role, preferably within advisory, consulting, or insurance.
• Recent experience in actuarial modelling within a consultancy or insurance setting, along with a strong understanding of DB pension benefits.
• A combination of technical expertise and commercial acumen.
• Strong communicator, comfortable sharing opinions with peers.
