Hyphen Creative is on the lookout for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, fun, and dynamic creative studio where your ideas and creativity will truly make an impact.

About the Role

This is a unique hybrid role based at our office in Belper — you’ll split your time 60/40 between:

Hyphen Creative agency work: Designing for a variety of clients across different industries.

OdiliaClark (our client) work: Acting as an in-house designer for their brand, helping refine and develop their visual identity.

This means you get the best of both worlds: the fast-moving creative variety of an agency environment and the opportunity to shape and grow a single brand in-house.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing eye-catching graphics for digital and print media, including branding, social media, packaging, and website assets.
• UX, UI and web design so a strong web design portfolio is a must.
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to bring creative concepts to life.
• Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Keeping up with design trends and ensuring our work stays innovative and fresh.
• Assisting with Hyphen Creative’s own brand visuals and marketing materials.
• Occasionally working additional hours to meet project deadlines when required.
• Working closely with both our internal team and OdiliaClark’s team to ensure brand consistency.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design (agency experience is a plus).
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, digital, web design and print design skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as Figma and XD.
• A keen eye for typography, layout, and colour.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive (and client) feedback.
• Bonus: Experience with motion graphics and illustration.
• Flexibility to adapt between agency and in-house design work.

Working Hours

8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
