Job description

Are you a passionate media planner ready to make a significant impact? We’re looking for an energetic and experienced Head of Media to lead our go-to-market media strategies for William Hill and 888 in the United Kingdom and Ireland. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love collaborating across teams, and are ready to take the reins of some of the nation’s most famous brands, this role is for you!

What you will be doing:

  • Develop effective go to market campaigns. Create targeted media strategies that align with our commercial goals, marketing campaigns, and brand strategies.
  • Collaborate with media buying agencies, creative and digital performance teams to brief, design, execute and optimise the go to market plans, with a keen focus on effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director on determining the right media campaign budgets, pricing negotiations, and ensure cost-effective media plans.
  • Manage a substantial media budget with focus on efficient tracking and reconciliation with key finance business partners.
  • Manage the planning team to help align the business on world-class campaign execution for all brands through all channels.
  • Utilize analytics tools. Monitor metrics to gauge campaign success and generate actionable insights for future media strategies.
  • Create reports and presentations. Prepare and present regular updates on campaign effectiveness, KPIs, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Who we are looking for:

  • Be an energetic and passionate TTL media planner with agency side or in-house experience; able to build measurably-effective advertising campaigns across both traditional and digital media channels.
  • Have excellent organisation, data analysis and reporting skills with experience in the Sports Betting and/or Gaming industry.
  • Have proven effective and personable relationship management and influencing skills to get the most from your team, stakeholders, peers and agency partners.
  • Keep up with the latest trends in ATL, digital media, social media, and media platforms to inform innovative strategies and have good understanding of the UK media landscape.
