Academics are currently looking for a skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher to start in one of our thriving SEN Schools this April. This role is suited to someone with previous experience working within an SEN Teaching environment. This School is thriving, and with the right care, support and focus on specific additional needs in collaboration with LSA's and other staff, opportunities for success arise.

  5. Long-term Contract - Option for permanent post July
  6. MPS1 - UPS3 (£36,412 - £53,994)
  7. Supportive Head teacher & SLT

As an SEN Teacher, you will need to:

  1. Foster, care for and nurture the complex needs of every student within your classroom, ensuring the lessons are inclusive of all learners' needs.
  2. Be able to maintain effective classroom discipline in a positive, constructive manner and promote self-disciplined behaviours across the school.
  3. Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that are in line with the curriculum followed by the school.
  4. Have sufficient knowledge of SEN Types and the complexities that follow these needs.
