Job Description
The Ground Engineering Department has a very diverse range of projects that will support your development whilst enjoying a truly varied experience in the design of offshore wind farms. We invite you as a geotechnical engineer into our team of engineers to contribute to our growing business in offshore wind. The intention is that you play an emerging key role in the delivery of the geotechnical aspects of offshore projects as you develop your skills and capabilities in offshore geotechnical engineering.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has preferably completed at least an MSc in geotechnical engineering and has about 2 - 5 years’ experience. We are looking for someone who is chartered or has made significant progress towards chartership.
Ramboll is the world leader in offshore foundation design and has performed designs for more than 40 offshore wind farms around the world. This encompasses more than 65% of all offshore installations in the UK, Denmark, USA, China, Belgium and many more.
At the Senior Engineer level, you are expected to ensure the accuracy of technical deliverables and assist in the development of more junior staff. You would also be expected to be chartered or have made progress towards doing so. We will assist in providing the necessary guidance to staff to help deliver projects using the support mechanisms already in place and to progress in your personal development.

Within the company, you will be working alongside the rest of the Ground Engineering team, and teams of all disciplines nationally and internationally across the Ramboll Group. You are encouraged to publish quality papers based on research undertaken on projects or otherwise.
