Job description

BODYSHOP MANAGER

Are you ready to lead a team and make an impact in the world of commercial accident repair?

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: £45,000.00 basic plus Bonuses (OTE £50,000.00) plus Company Vehicle, Laptop and Phone

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday

About the Role:
My client, a multi-site Commercial Vehicle maintenance company, is looking for a dynamic and driven Body Shop Manager to join their team in Manchester. As the Commercial Bodyshop Manager, you'll take the reins of a fast-paced, innovative shop, ensuring top-tier repairs and exceptional customer satisfaction. You'll lead a skilled team, optimise workflows, and build strong relationships with our customers and vendors.

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing & pre-planning the day-to-day activity of the Depot
  2. Estimating Repairs
  3. Monitoring efficiency of work and processes to ensure quality repairs
  4. Managing the Health & Safety of the depot and colleagues
  5. Negotiating deals with suppliers
  6. Ensuring profitability of the depot

Required Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing a bodyshop team
  2. Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with commercial vehicles
  3. Previous experience in a bodyshop or repair setting is preferred
  4. Estimating / VDA / Audatex experience is not essential, but desired
  5. Ideally hold a full clean driving licence
