Optical & Marketing Assistant

Park Vision is looking for a dynamic, fashionable and customer service driven Optical & Marketing Assistant to join our small team. We are committed to delivering excellent customer service, making every visit a fun and friendly experience whatever the age. With specialist clinics running throughout the week, there is a huge variety of patients coming through our doors.

This is a key role assisting the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians. The right candidate should be passionate about optics and want to be part of a modern, technology-driven and fashion-focused practice. They will also be creative in terms of marketing ideas and activities that will attract new customers while retaining our precious Park People, and of course, working diligently alongside colleagues to deliver a successful and profitable business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.
  2. Develop in-depth knowledge of all products and merchandise.
  3. Close attention to detail; re prescriptions and special requirements.
  4. Perform work accurately and thoroughly with the ability to cope with volume at busy times.
  5. Assist/advise the customer in selecting frames and lenses that are best suited for their lifestyle and prescription.
  6. Create and execute marketing campaigns / social media content.

This is not an exhaustive list of duties, as the whole team needs to work collaboratively to provide a first-class service.

Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays expected (37.5 hours pw)
