Senior Embedded Android Software Engineer (hybrid):


Responsibilities:

  1. AOSP Android platform development, kernel configuration and tuning, including Android framework/service alterations and the Android toolchain.
  2. Good understanding of the Android architecture and ecosystem, including low level and security.
  3. Linux kernel and system programming.
  4. Experience optimizing Linux/Android performance, i.e., power management.
  5. Proficiency in C++.
  6. Linux open source project configuration management and patching techniques advantageous.

Role: Senior Embedded Android Software Engineer / AOSP Android Software Architect

Location: Cambridge (with hybrid options. 2 days working from home)

Salary: £70-85K plus private healthcare, annual bonus, family flexible organization, pension, dental plan, life assurance, free parking and an early finish on Fridays! (8 hours Monday to Thursday, 5 hours Friday)
