Primary School Sports Coach

Calling all Primary School Sports Coaches!

Do you have passion and enthusiasm for Sports and Fitness? Do you have experience working with Primary School children? Would you like to use your passion to make a positive impact on the lives of young children in Bristol?

This role may be perfect for you. Our school is looking for a Primary School Sports Coach to join their team and inspire young learners. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to promote physical education and encourage active lifestyles for Primary School children.

Location: Bristol - BS11
Start: ASAP, fixed term until 31 July 2025
Pay: £90 - £120 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Part time, 25 hours per week, between the hours of 11:30 - 4:30pm

The school is looking for a motivated Primary School Sports Coach to conduct afternoon sessions from classes from Reception all the way through up to Year 6. The role will also consist of undertaking sport sessions for children who attend afterschool clubs.

Requirements:

1. Relevant coaching qualifications or a degree in sports science, physical education, or a related field.
2. Proven experience working with primary school aged children.
3. Committed to inclusion - experienced in planning PE effectively for children with a range of needs.
4. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all students.
