Job Description

  • Project Management: Lead and manage corporate finance transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout projects.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including valuation modeling, due diligence, and preparation of financial projections.
  • Advisory Services: Provide strategic advice on corporate finance matters, including business valuations, deal structuring, and capital raising.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing coaching and guidance in corporate finance work and technical skills.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and financial models for client meetings and negotiations.
  • Business Development: Support business development activities, identifying opportunities for new corporate finance work within existing and prospective clients.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Finance Manager should have:

  • ACA, ACCA (or equivalent), with significant post-qualification experience in corporate finance or transaction services.
  • Experience in advising on M&A, valuations, or other corporate finance transactions.
  • Strong technical skills in financial analysis and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience of managing projects and teams, with the ability to deliver under pressure and to deadlines.
  • A proactive and commercial mindset, with a focus on delivering results for clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in preparing and presenting financial reports.
