Art Teacher

Location: Haringey
Salary: £165 - £265 per day
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Temporary for 1 term

GSL Education London Branch is looking for a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join a fantastic girls' secondary school and sixth form in Haringey. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Art Teacher to inspire and engage students in the world of creativity and expression.

Responsibilities of an Art Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
2. Encourage students to develop their artistic skills and creativity.
3. Use a variety of teaching techniques to engage all learners.
4. Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support.
5. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
6. Ensure that all students feel supported and motivated in their artistic journey.
7. Work closely with other teachers and staff to enhance the art curriculum.

Requirements for an Art Teacher:

1. Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
2. Experience working as an Art Teacher in a secondary school setting.
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts.
4. Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
5. A commitment to student progress and high expectations for learning.
6. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
