Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Analyst to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for software development. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with business objectives. You will play a key role in improving systems, workflows, and user experiences through data-driven insights and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, product managers, etc.) to understand needs, pain points, and objectives.
• Elicit, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., user stories, use cases).
• Conduct feasibility studies and gap analysis to identify technical solutions.
• Create clear and concise documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), System Requirements Specifications (SRS), and process flow diagrams.
• Define user personas, workflows, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and designers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Clarify ambiguities and resolve conflicts between business needs and technical constraints.
• Map existing business processes and identify inefficiencies.
• Propose system improvements or automation opportunities to enhance productivity.
• Analyze data to support decision-making and validate system performance.
• Generate reports to track project progress, user adoption, and solution impact.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
• Validate that final solutions align with stakeholder expectations.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership.
• Assist in developing user training materials and post-implementation support plans.
• Monitor system performance post-launch and address feedback.

Must Have

• Bachelor Degree or Higher
• Passion for software products
• Highly creative and autonomous
• Valid work permit for Belgium
