Contract Python Developer, Full Stack Software Engineer, FastAPI, Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib, PyQt/PySide, TypeScript, React/Angular, SQL, Django, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes – £500 a day outside IR35 – 3 months with possible extension.

Contract Python Developer required to work with a sustainable engineering client based in the East Midlands area. 3 days a week in the office.

We are looking for a Python Developer who has a formal background in software development and several years of experience writing desktop and/or full-stack web applications. As a Senior level Python Developer, you will work on a specific project and help bring this product to completion. A mix of back and front-end development experience is necessary; therefore, experience with React/Angular or any JavaScript/TypeScript will be advantageous.

Client: Working on cutting-edge sustainable technology and providing solutions worldwide. This is an innovative project to engage with, located in a technologically advanced facility commutable from Nottingham, Sheffield, Derby, and Leicester.

In your toolkit, we will need to see experience in most of the following:

Python (FastAPI, Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib, PyQt/PySide, etc.)
TypeScript, React, Chakra UI
REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Socket.IO
SQL, Django
GitLab, Continuous Integration & Delivery, Docker, Kubernetes
VTK
