Job description

S Knights Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainer in Hospitality. This is for an award-winning Ofsted Grade 2 Training Provider. The ideal candidate for this role would be a motivated and enthusiastic Hospitality Trainer that is inspired and passionate about delivering Hospitality skills. This is a full-time, permanent home-based role with travel to visit learners within a 30 - 40 mile radius of your location in the West Midlands.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Trainer in Hospitality, you will be responsible to:

  1. Teach and provide knowledge sessions to the learners and visit them in their workplace using your vocational experience to support them complete their apprenticeship.
  2. Attend scheduled visits and manage your own diary to ensure you are delivering based on KPIs.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders and teammates to maintain excellent service to clients and learners while following the required standards.
  4. Monitor the progress of the learners regularly, ensure that they will attend all sessions, and prevent early leavers from the programme.
  5. Maximize learners’ full potential through supporting their development and adhering to the proper guidelines.
  6. Act as a vocational expert with experience in Hospitality and maintain professional development continuously.

Experience and Skills:

As a Trainer in Hospitality, you will need the following to be successful:

  1. A level 2 NVQ in Hospitality.
  2. Hospitality Supervision or Management qualification.
  3. Passionate and engaging trainer/assessor with vocational experience in Hospitality, ideally in a hotel environment.
  4. GCSEs in English and Maths at Level C or equivalent.
  5. A level 3 BTEC in hospitality management would be desirable.
  6. Ability to hit and exceed KPIs and goals.
  7. Strong self-motivation skills.
