Job Title: Data Planner

Location: Blackwood

Salary: £28-£32k per annum

Hours: Full time. Monday - Friday days regular (flexi time)

Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting a Data Planner to work for a company based in Blackwood.

You would be responsible for the creation and maintenance of master data within the company's MRP system. Based in a European facility, you will form part of a dedicated team establishing the foundational data utilized by the business to conduct repair and maintenance activities associated with commercial aircraft engine nacelles and thrust reversers. The role will report to the Technical Services Manager and form a key part in our continued success in providing our customers with the service levels expected from a world-leading MRO provider.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

• Providing a key responsive service to the business via Helpdesk system support.
• Researching Technical Publications/Engineering drawings.
• Creation, maintenance, and revision of master data (Labour & material resource) in SAP.
• Challenging the validity of such requests to ensure accuracy of data creation.
• Liaison with key functional Departments.
• Assisting with other duties as required by the department.
• Supporting departmental project activity and other CI initiatives.

Position Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in an office, production and/or production engineering/planning environment with a focus on task prioritization.
• Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak the English language fluently, interacting with other departments and challenging when necessary to ensure data standards are maintained.
• Individuals must be able to effectively use various business tools (SAP, E-Mail, MS Word, Excel, etc.), understand manufacturer's specifications, overhaul manuals, process sheets, drawings, and other work instructions.
• Data configuration & Inputting experience in SAP is highly desirable.
• Ability to research & interpret Technical Documentation, with diligence and attentiveness to detail to preserve data standards within the MRP system.
