Rate of Pay from £13.00 to £16.00 per hour depending on experience and location

Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

We are looking for experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about making a difference in people's lives. Working mainly within residential homes, you will be responsible for leading your shift and team to support residents with their daily activities, whilst encouraging independence and enabling people to live their best lives.

We have opportunities throughout Greater Manchester including Stockport, Rochdale, Oldham and Salford. We have a variety of shifts available to support 24-hour care, both Days or Nights, weekdays and weekends.

About You

Providing quality care in a homely environment requires kindness, patience and common sense. Applicants must also have:

  • a minimum of 12 months experience within a healthcare setting
  • 6 months paid experience working as a senior or in a similar leadership role
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent preferred
  • experience administering medication safely
  • experience of risk assessment, care planning and evaluation
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (for our more remote locations)
