European Equity Investment Specialist (French or German speaker)

Our client, a leading global asset management firm, is seeking an Investment Specialist to join their European Equities investment team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in bridging the gap between the investment team and clients, while contributing to the growth and success of their European equity strategies.

As an Investment Specialist, you will be providing clients with deep insights into investment performance, market trends, and portfolio positioning. You will work closely with the investment team to articulate their philosophy and process while also gathering client feedback to help refine and enhance product offerings.

What you’ll be doing:

• Serve as the primary contact for clients invested in European equity strategies, delivering timely updates, performance analysis, and market insights.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to develop a thorough understanding of the investment process, philosophy, and positioning of European equity portfolios.
• Create and deliver engaging presentations, reports, and thought leadership content to clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
• Support the business development team by participating in client meetings, roadshows, and industry conferences to promote European equity strategies.
• Monitor European equity markets, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities, and translating these into actionable insights for clients.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations consistently exceeded.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in asset management, investment consulting, or a related field
• Proficiency in second language, French or German is essential
• In-depth knowledge of European equity markets, including macroeconomic drivers, sector dynamics, and regulatory environments.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex investment concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• A client-centric approach, with a passion for building trust and fostering long-term relationships.
