Please note that this is an apprenticeship position and therefore anyone with more than six months professional experience working as a Business Analyst or who holds a degree or Master’s degree in a subject such as Business Studies or an MBA will not be eligible.
You will also need to commit to completing a Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship.

SUMMARY:
Zayo Europe is looking for a proactive and motivated Business Analyst Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to kick-start their career and contribute to impactful projects that drive business success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in gathering, documenting and analysing business requirements to process improvements from stakeholders.
- Support the evaluation of changes and their impacts.
- Help analyse data quality and integrity.
- Learn all the various roles within the team.
- Support the Business Analyst or lead on small change initiatives.
- Assist with the development of business cases.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Document and analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvements.
- Present information appropriate to the audience; technical and non-technical, to ensure requirements and solutions are understood.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong analytical skills: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make sound recommendations.
- Attention to detail & ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic and ability to effectively manage a high-volume workload.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & organizational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships.
- Ability to follow instructions, to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Possess a keen attitude and a willingness to learn.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 9-4 or A-C, including English and Mathematics.
- 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grades A*-C in any subject but preferably one in a numerical, computing, or business subject (e.g. Maths, Science, Computer Science, Business Studies).
Salary: £21,000 + company bonus scheme
Location: we are based at 114 Whitechapel High Street | London, E1 7PT. The successful applicant will be required to attend our offices at least 2 days per week though all employees are welcome to work from the office on other days.
