Health and Safety Officer

Principal People are delighted to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer to join one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK covering 3 sites within the Thames Valley area.

The successful candidate will obtain up to £40,000 + Pack for this position, with the opportunity to progress and develop within a large scale, well renowned organisation.

As the Health and Safety Officer you will be responsible for:

1. Delivering health and safety advice and support for onsite teams and staff making sure activities are in line with legislation, relevant guidance as well as policies and procedures.
2. Building and managing relationships with staff to keep health and safety moving forward.
3. Monitor and improve delivery of health and safety services.
4. Schedule, review, improve and implementation of risk assessments.
5. Delivering quarterly health and safety meetings to onsite senior management.

The Successful Health and Safety Officer will have the following as a minimum:

1. Hold a NEBOSH General or equivalent as a minimum.
2. Hold a driving License, willing to travel across multiple sites.
3. Experience within a multi-site role.
4. Ideally from a Healthcare, education, public sector, NHS, or care background.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication.
