A growing contractor are currently seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager to join their company. The Assistant Contracts Manager will be working alongside an experienced Contracts Manager overseeing multiple projects across the high end/ heritage London market.

Cost management:
Pricing tenders
Pricing variations
Putting together monthly applications for payment
Setting contract budgets
Programme:
Producing tender or construction programmes using software
Understanding how to present the effects of delays on projects
Health and Safety:
Producing safe systems of works
Taking on additional responsibilities, temporary works co-ordinator, scaffold inspections
Carrying our reports and inspections
Problem-solving:
Finding unique solutions to bespoke issues
Working in a bespoke environment on bespoke projects
Project delivery:
Setting up projects; subcontractors; direct labour; site set up; client liaison
Skills:
IT literate
Proficient with Microsoft office programmes (Word / Excel)
Strong preference for construction degree background
Experience:
Construction degree full time completed or 3 years through part-time course
