Job Description

The Commercial discipline is responsible for driving business growth, managing partnerships, and providing industry subject matter expertise and advisory to both clients and internal teams. This strategic and consultative team creates meaningful relationships with clients through their combined knowledge of IT services and industry trends and pain points.

As a Business Development Specialist at Endava, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth as a valuable team member of our Sales team, using your expertise to discover and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the sales pipeline by engaging new and existing clients within Growth Industries (e.g., Energy and Public Sector)
  • Drive client engagement and proposal development
  • Plan and carry out business activities to build client relationships and secure opportunities
  • Collaborate with senior sales and delivery teams to articulate Endava's value proposition effectively
  • Develop and maintain a target account list with defined prospect/client profiles and key value propositions
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of industry verticals and sub-verticals, providing insights and case studies to support sales efforts
  • Lead discussions with industry professionals and stakeholders to generate interest and showcase expertise in key industry topics
  • Participate in external industry events
  • Support sales targeting and marketing activities, for example, reviewing lists of conference attendees to determine optimal targets and coordinating across a sales team to reach out or reviewing lists of marketing leads to assess and coordinate with the broader sales team to determine who to target
Qualifications
  • Experience in sales/similar, within technology
  • Knowledgeable about industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with a passion for achieving targets and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
