What will you be doing?

We're seeking a talented individual to join our team in Tunbridge Wells.

As Accounting Manager - Business Outsourcing Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that clients receive an efficient and proactive service and client expectations are exceeded throughout the year, liaising with Clients, Partners, and other Evelyn Partner staff where appropriate.
• Completing management and statutory accounts, including related services, and setting budgets while being aware of the commercial aspects of clients' business and impact on our work.
• Preparation of proposals for new work and development of opportunities for Evelyn Partners with current clients.
• Attend to preparation of fee notes and fee covering letters for clients.
• Assist the Managers with cash collection of outstanding debtors for clients in the portfolio.
• Review and prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, VAT returns, and unaudited statutory accounts.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA) or qualified by experience.
• Have attention to detail for the smooth running of the workflow and portfolio.
• Develop relationships and gain the confidence of clients.
• Possess technical expertise to ensure accounts meet statutory requirements.
• Have a good understanding of the commercial factors affecting the client.
• Be proficient in Sage, QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Office packages.
