Site Engineer with Own Equipment

Location: Southampton – Mayflower Theatre Extension

Start Date: 28th April 2025

Duration: 5–6 Months

Working Hours: Approx. 45 hours per week (with occasional weekend work)

About the Role:

We are Footprint, recruiting on behalf of our client for a Site Engineer to work on the exciting extension project at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer with their own equipment to contribute to the development of this prestigious site.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct all external surveys on the site
Oversee piling operations
Manage and adjust all ground levels to meet project specifications

Requirements:

Must have own equipment for surveying and engineering tasks
Previous experience with large-scale construction projects is essential
Ability to work independently and manage site operations efficiently
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication skills to liaise with the project team and subcontractors
